In order to address the major challenges of child mortality due to diarrheal diseases following the use of contaminated water, the NGO VHaN intervenes on health indicators related to diarrheal diseases of children in schools. It therefore conducts training and awareness workshops on handwashing in schools and also implements the WASH program in the community.
